Precision Electroformed Nickel Mesh

Precision sieves for use with the Sonic Sifter™ Separator have electroformed nickel mesh and clear acrylic frame with dimensions of 3.5" O.D., 3" I.D., overall height 1.25". Electroformed nickel mesh is a high-precision alternative medium for particle size measurement. Not woven at all, this medium is formed by the electrodeposition of liquid nickel on a precision-ruled grid. The process increases the diameter of the "wires" in the matrix, thus reducing the size of the holes. Opening sizes can be controlled to the exacting tolerances, and meet all the specifications as outlined in ASTM -E161 and ISO. Regardless of the opening size, the allowable tolerance on the range of opening sizes in a given piece of mesh is just +/- 2 micrometer. Calibration services available.
